we copy
we cut
we paste
we let mind run free
we don’t compose
we allow it to unfold

Ellen's notes 28.10.08 and 5.11.08

by Ellen Kilsgaard

I question the term ‘body as instrument’ spoken by a dancer. It carves out and enforces the body mind binary way of thinking does’nt it? My body is not an instrument, I am not an instrument, I am a living intelligent organism, living moving thinking matter. I dance as I attend to this living fluidity.

Some thoughts notes and inspirations

by Sonja Jokiniemi

Learning starts from digesting information and then making it part of you. Part of learning is to discover habits and patterns. Patterns are resisting learning and breaking through these patterns we allow room for new knowledge and understanding. Habits form structure. How do we structure chaos?

Notes Wed 29th Oct 08

by Lucy

Poetic imagination interfaced with rigorous through (thought?) structure. This seems to hold relevance to me as a choreographer and my trying to continuously define a clearer more ordered process with the hope that I will achieve greater clarity in my work and for those people involved or witnessing.

by Lengyel Katalin

Someone said: Everything is creative under us above us next to us; moreover, inside us. Hm. Do the stones move? Do they rattle? I tell you: “They act verrry verrry slowly due to my invitation.”

The consciousness of streaming

by Lengyel Katalin

I was thinking raw. He said that, not me. But I believe I was. Bunch of clever ideas were rawing around our heads and as I seemed to hear wings rustling, calm breeze was tickling my neck. Sometimes I was not fast enough to move away and they hit me. Did I enjoy it? I don’t really know, it did not hurt so much, that’s true.
