conscious reality construction

a note on applied dramaturgy:

by jeffrey gormly

By creative process, I mean any human work of endeavour that produces a result. This therefore includes not only any artistic process but any one of making objects, relations, communities or groups, or seeks to produce any identifiable outcome eg event, space, performance, social situation. .. Any such work, which I believe includes most organised human cooperative activity, can be understood to be able to be fulfilling, creative, empowering, and can model ideal relations between participants.

choreonautics

by jeffrey gormly

Choreonauts are bodies moving in time and space, witnessing, framing, interfering with and negotiating dynamic constellations of which they themselves are also a part, even if only by virtue of their role as observers. Choreonauts rely on creative intuition to dissolve dualities of subject and object, and resolve multiply-framed partial images of a systemic whole (which is unknowable by we subjects) into working hypotheses we may call choreographies of thought or action.

applied science fiction

by jeffrey gormly

Science fictioneers uncover gemstone artefacts of what-yet-may-happen, arranging their finds in reverse rehearsed archaeologies. Applied science fiction performs those possibilities of making perceptual sense of now through lenses of a future, radically reorganizing reality to see not culminating patterns of history but sproutings of new emergent phenomena.

freedom air of freedom & powerlessons of living (erich fromm remixed)

by jeffrey gormly

what holds true of love and work is idealistic spontaneous action. self realization can be achieved by pleasure or participation, free and yet not alone, critical and yet not filled with enslavement by very products of man’s hand, independent and yet an integral part of you-mankind.

The great revolutions in human society are changes in the form of symbolic representation; reorganisation of the theatre, of the stage for human action
[So I scriptsculpt my livelovelife poem, inhabit it, live through its shape, sing those lines, try it for size and rhyme. I push probe test adapt my model until it breaks.]
